Literacy For Children

Empowering Communities through Education in the DRC

Our focus is on building schools in underserved areas, particularly in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). By investing in sustainable growth practices and combining them with our spiritual ministry, we aim to create a lasting impact on the lives of children and their communities. Education is not just about acquiring knowledge; it is about nurturing holistic development.

Our schools provide a safe and inclusive environment where students can thrive academically, emotionally, and spiritually. We believe that every child has unique gifts and talents waiting to be discovered. In addition to academic curriculum, our schools also offer vocational training programs tailored to local needs. This equips students with practical skills that enable them to contribute meaningfully towards their community’s social and economic development. To ensure sustainability, we incorporate environmentally-friendly practices into all aspects of school construction and operations.

This also includes emphasis on religious instruction so that students and their families may be drawn to Christ:

The Jane Wise School was built in 2017 in the village of Kasenga.
The Mwangaza School was completed in 2023 in the village of Kasenga
The Mfuta school will be built during 2023-24 in the village of Mfuta.

From utilizing renewable energy sources for power generation to implementing waste management systems, we are committed to minimizing our ecological footprint while creating learning spaces that inspire future generations. We understand that education alone cannot address all challenges faced by communities in the DRC. That’s why alongside building schools, we also provide spiritual support through our ministry efforts. Through counseling services, mentorship programs, and faith-based activities, we strive to nurture spiritual strength among students as they navigate life’s hurdles.
